MRI Technologist - Asheville, North Carolina

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday-Thursday: 7:00 am–10:30 pm
• Saturday-Sunday: 8:30 am–4:30 pm
• Rotating weekends

Qualifications:

• Current MRI registry (required)
• Demonstrated experience with GE MRI equipment
• Proficiency in performing both contrast and non-contrast MRI procedures
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR system is a plus
• Breast MRI experience highly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to produce detailed diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Administer MRI contrast agents as indicated and monitor for adverse reactions
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure image quality and meet clinical needs
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Support a positive work environment, coordinate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, and adhere to infection control and safety protocols
• Follow department dress code (black scrubs required)
• Remain flexible to float as needed within the imaging department

$1,936 - $2,048/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
