Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI equipment to produce clear, diagnostic images according to physician orders
  • Screen patients for safety and explain procedures, ensuring comfort and quality care
  • Maintain high standards for patient confidentiality and safety protocols
  • Manage imaging documentation, workflow, and picture archiving accurately
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other professionals for optimal diagnostic outcomes
  • Monitor and report equipment performance, and facilitate basic troubleshooting or maintenance
  • Follow infection control and facility safety guidelines consistently

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or equivalent) required
  • Valid state license as needed by local regulations
  • Prior experience in MRI imaging within a hospital or clinic environment
  • Strong knowledge of MRI safety and contraindications
  • Comfort with imaging technology and electronic medical records
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interactions
  • Detail-oriented and organized under busy schedules
