MRI Technologist | Beaverton, Oregon

Advance your career as an experienced MRI Technologist, contributing your skills in a dynamic imaging environment. This contract position spans 13 weeks and is designed for professionals eager to provide high-quality MRI imaging services while working a flexible, part-time schedule.

Schedule:

• Part-time, 24 hours per week
• Wednesday: 12 pm – 11 pm
• Thursday: 12 pm – 11 pm
• Participation in the on-call rotation (weeknight 11 pm – 5:30 am and weekends); on-call frequency is flexible and based on your availability

Qualifications:

• Current certification in ARRT (MR)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
• Strong knowledge of MRI equipment, safety protocols, and imaging procedures
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide empathetic patient care
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced healthcare team

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI scans as ordered by referring healthcare providers, ensuring safe patient positioning and protocol adherence
• Maintain accurate electronic and written records, documenting procedures, patient interactions, and imaging outcomes
• Prepare patients for imaging, providing clear instructions and alleviating concerns to ensure a comfortable experience
• Uphold safety standards by monitoring for contraindications and responding appropriately to emergencies or complications
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other team members to contribute to accurate diagnoses
