A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled professional with expertise in MRI imaging and MRI technology. This contract position spans 13 weeks and is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with advanced imaging systems and enjoys being part of a dynamic clinical environment.
Schedule:
- 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per day
- Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Qualifications:
- Valid BLS certification
- Current ARRT(CT) credential
- ACLS certification
- Experience with Hitachi 128 MRI equipment
- Previous experience as an MRI Technologist in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication and technical skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans utilizing Hitachi 128 MRI systems in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, clearly explaining steps and addressing any questions or concerns
- Monitor patient safety and comfort before, during, and after scans
- Accurately document scan findings and maintain meticulous patient records
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and fellow healthcare team members to ensure optimal imaging outcomes
- Adhere strictly to all facility guidelines for patient privacy, infection control, and equipment maintenance
