Advance your career in medical imaging with an opportunity specializing in MRI technology. This contract role is structured for experienced MRI technologists who thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, providing top-notch imaging services to a diverse patient population.
Schedule:
- 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
- Day shifts: Monday through Wednesday, 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in MRI imaging required
- Current ARRT (MR) certification and BLS certification are both mandatory
- Proven capability working comfortably in high-volume clinical settings
- Strong attention to detail, reliable communication, and commitment to patient safety
Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans following physician orders and established protocols
- Prepare and position patients safely and effectively for imaging procedures
- Operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment, maintaining high standards for image quality and patient care
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including screening patients for contraindications to MRI
- Accurately document patient information, procedure details, and scan results in electronic records
- Collaborate seamlessly with radiologists, fellow technologists, and multidisciplinary staff
