A healthcare facility in Boston, MA is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a contract opportunity with a night shift schedule. This role focuses on performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures using advanced equipment, including Philips systems. Candidates with expertise in MRI and proficiency with Philips technology are highly desired, especially those with experience on GE 3T scanners.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience working as an MRI Technologist
- Proficient with Philips MRI systems; GE 3T experience is preferred
- Certifications required: BLS and ARRT or ARMIT
- Massachusetts license not required for this role
Schedule:
- 36 hours per week
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- No weekend shifts unless voluntarily requested
- Holiday shifts as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to deliver accurate diagnostic images
- Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols and policies
- Document procedures and maintain patient records accurately
