Embark on a rewarding opportunity as an MRI Technologist, delivering high-quality imaging services in a dynamic, patient-centered environment. This contract role is designed for a skilled professional ready to work efficiently in a high-volume setting.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
- Current ARRT (MR) certification
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Active Florida state license
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume imaging environments
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols, ensuring accurate, high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation
- Verify patient identification, thoroughly explain procedures, and address any questions or concerns to ensure comfort and safety
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, troubleshooting minor technical issues as needed
- Prioritize workflow and manage patient schedules efficiently to accommodate high daily volumes
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Monitor patients throughout the imaging process, adhering to all safety guidelines and infection control procedures
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation and follow all regulatory requirements
