Deliver advanced diagnostic imaging care as a skilled MRI Technologist and play a vital role in supporting patient health and accurate clinical assessment. This contract opportunity allows you to collaborate with healthcare professionals committed to high standards in imaging services.

Qualifications:

  • Valid MRI Technologist certification (ARRT (MR) or equivalent)
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
  • Current state licensure as applicable
  • Minimum one year of recent experience operating MRI scanners in a healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
  • Proficient with electronic medical records and imaging management systems
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a medical team
  • BLS certification

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI scans for both inpatient and outpatient populations, utilizing appropriate protocols for each study ordered
  • Screen patients and staff for MRI safety and contraindications
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and addressing questions to promote comfort and cooperation
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring optimal function and image clarity
  • Accurately document patient information, exam findings, and relevant data in electronic health records
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for timely communication of imaging results
  • Monitor patient condition throughout the procedure, including emergency response if necessary
  • Adhere to infection control and patient privacy regulations
