MRI Technologist - Bridgeport, Connecticut

Qualifications:

• Registered Technologist (RT) with current certification, meeting Connecticut requirements for contrast administration
• Demonstrated experience in MRI, with excellent knowledge of imaging principles, safety protocols, and patient care
• Proficiency in operating Siemens MRI equipment preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a fast-paced healthcare setting

Responsibilities:

• Perform and interpret MRI imaging procedures, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards
• Prepare and position patients for imaging, explaining processes and minimizing anxiety
• Administer intravenous contrast safely in alignment with state regulations and organizational protocols
• Operate and maintain Siemens MRI equipment; troubleshoot issues as necessary
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and recordkeeping
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and support personnel to deliver seamless diagnostic imaging services

$3,302 - $3,482/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
