A skilled MRI Technologist is needed to provide exceptional imaging services in a dynamic hospital setting. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering high-quality MRI scans, supporting physicians in diagnosis and treatment planning, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.

Qualifications:

  • Valid ARRT (MRI) certification required
  • Completion of an accredited MRI Technology program
  • Current state licensure as required
  • Previous experience working as an MRI Technologist
  • Strong understanding of MRI equipment, procedures, and safety protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a healthcare team

Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images as ordered by referring physicians
  • Prepare patients for scans, explaining procedures and addressing concerns to minimize anxiety
  • Ensure accurate patient positioning and image quality
  • Monitor patients during procedures for comfort and safety
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of imaging suites and equipment
  • Verify physician orders and document scan details as per facility protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff for optimal patient outcomes
  • Adhere to all regulatory, infection control, and privacy guidelines

$2,783 - $2,944/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
