MRI Technologist - Brockton, Massachusetts

An excellent contract opportunity is available for a skilled MRI Technologist with expertise in advanced imaging. This position features a unique overnight schedule ideal for professionals seeking nontraditional hours.

Schedule:

• Tuesday: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Wednesday: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Thursday: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to ensure high-quality imaging results.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for each study, ensuring comfort and correct technique.
• Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and follow department documentation procedures.
• Uphold rigorous standards for patient safety, privacy, and infection control.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide basic maintenance and quality assurance for imaging equipment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent certification required).
• Previous experience in a hospital-based MRI setting is strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of MRI physics, anatomy, and cross-sectional imaging.
• Excellent communication skills and professional bedside manner.
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts.
• BLS/CPR certification.
