This direct hire opportunity offers a consistent, full-time schedule of three 12-hour day shifts each week (36 hours/week). As the facility operates seven days a week, flexibility to be scheduled on any day for coverage is essential. No on-call or night shifts are required, though you may float between three local sites as needed, with a primary assignment at the Greensboro location.

Qualifications:

  • ARRT MR certification required
  • For direct hire, at least 1 year of MRI tech experience preferred
  • Experience assisting with breast biopsies and with research studies is a plus
  • MRSO certification is preferred but not required
  • Must be proficient in starting IVs and able to work independently
  • Familiarity with EPIC charting/EMR systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of MRI procedures with accuracy and attention to patient safety
  • Operate MRI equipment in accordance with established protocols and manufacturer guidelines
  • Prepare patients and explain procedures, ensuring comfort and addressing concerns
  • Independently start IVs and manage patient care throughout imaging processes
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to assist in research studies and breast biopsies
  • Accurately document all procedures and findings using the EPIC EMR system
  • Float among three imaging sites as needed, adapting smoothly to new teams and protocols
