Take your MRI imaging expertise to the next level with an exciting direct hire opportunity in a dynamic diagnostic imaging environment. This vital role is integral to a team providing exceptional care and advanced imaging services, primarily at a leading Greensboro facility, with some coverage at nearby sites as needed.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Three 12-hour day shifts per week (totaling 36 hours)
  • Facility operates seven days a week; flexibility to be scheduled any day is essential
  • No night shifts or on-call requirements
  • Occasional floating to two nearby sites

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • ARRT MR certification required
  • Minimum 1+ years of MRI technologist experience for direct hire candidates (5+ years for contractors)
  • Strongly preferred: experience with breast biopsies and supporting research studies
  • MRSO certification is a plus
  • Skilled in starting IVs
  • Ability to work independently and adapt within a multi-site imaging environment
  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR/charting system preferred

Role Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety
  • Complete imaging procedures accurately, including supporting specialized breast biopsies
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals on research-related imaging protocols
  • Maintain impeccable patient and equipment records via the EPIC EMR system
  • Provide compassionate patient care, offering support and clear communication throughout the imaging process
  • Float to other local imaging sites as needed to ensure comprehensive coverage
