MRI Technologist | Burlington, North Carolina

Seeking an experienced imaging professional with a strong MRI background for a contract role supporting a busy medical imaging environment. This position offers a dynamic schedule and the opportunity to work with advanced Siemens 1.5T and 3T technology while contributing to both routine and specialty imaging care.

Schedule & Hours:

• Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours guaranteed)
• Assigned any three shifts, Monday through Sunday
• No overnight shifts
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week minimum commitment

Qualifications:

• ARRT (MR) certification is required
• Minimum of 5 years’ recent MRI Tech experience
• Ability to independently start IVs is mandatory
• Competence working solo as the only technician per machine
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records
• Preferred: Experience supporting breast biopsies and research studies
• MRSO certification a plus

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI scans utilizing Siemens 1.5T and 3T equipment
• Assist in advanced procedures, including breast biopsies as needed
• Ensure safety standards and patient care protocols are adhered to at all times
• Efficiently manage scan schedules and patient flow with minimal supervision
• Maintain accurate records and documentation within Epic
• Float between designated imaging locations as operational needs require

$2,250 - $2,448/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
