This travel assignment offers the chance to work with cutting-edge MRI equipment and receive training on multi-vendor platforms, all within a collaborative two-technologist team model. Schedule Options:
- 40 hours/week (2:30pm-11:00pm)
- Week 1: Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri/Sat
- Week 2: Sun/Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri
Responsibilities:
- Safely perform MRI studies, including patient prep, positioning, parameter selection, and imaging.
- Select appropriate protocols; perform regular quality assurance scans.
- Collaborate with department team members and consult content experts as needed.
- Prepare patients for exams (with and without contrast), insert IVs, administer contrast agents, and respond to any reactions.
- Ensure patient and visitor safety in the MRI suite—including adherence to rigorous safety protocols.
- Carry out scheduled quality control procedures and assist with various support tasks.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Medical Imaging Program (Certificate/Diploma required; Associate’s preferred).
- BLS certified within 90 days of hire.
- Advanced MR certification (ARRT or ARMRIT) required within 12 months.
- Previous MRI experience and strong safety awareness highly valued.
