Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent)
- Proven experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical environment
- Understanding of imaging protocols, safety procedures, and quality control standards
- Ability to explain procedures and provide reassurance to patients
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to confidentiality standards
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Review orders, select proper imaging protocols, and position patients accurately
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment according to best practices
- Monitor images for quality, clarity, and diagnostic value; retake scans as necessary
