Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent)
• Proven experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical environment
• Understanding of imaging protocols, safety procedures, and quality control standards
• Ability to explain procedures and provide reassurance to patients
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to confidentiality standards
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Review orders, select proper imaging protocols, and position patients accurately
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment according to best practices
• Monitor images for quality, clarity, and diagnostic value; retake scans as necessary
• Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and imaging files
• Adhere to infection control measures and facility procedures at all times
