Schedule:

  • 6:30 am – 3:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday
  • 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm, Monday

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical environment
  • Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent)
  • Current and valid registration/license as required by governing state or certifying body
  • Strong knowledge of MRI safety procedures and patient care standards
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced setting and prioritize patient needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and protocol guidelines
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout
  • Explain procedures clearly and address patient concerns or questions
  • Review images for diagnostic quality and collaborate with radiologists on findings as needed
  • Maintain MRI equipment and report any technical issues promptly
  • Uphold all departmental policies and strict compliance with safety regulations
