Desired Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT (MRI) certification or equivalent
  • Prior experience performing MRI scans in a clinical or hospital environment
  • Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Comfort operating and troubleshooting advanced MRI technology
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently perform MRI procedures according to physician orders and department protocols
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI examinations, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the procedure
  • Accurately document procedures, maintain patient records, and contribute to high-quality imaging outcomes
  • Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions to ensure safe, reliable operation
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and other clinical staff to optimize imaging and patient care
  • Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines at all times
