Qualifications & Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with a focus on MRI
• Valid ARRT (MRI) certification or equivalent
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• At least 1 year of recent experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical or hospital setting
• In-depth understanding of MRI safety protocols and patient positioning
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly with patients and healthcare staff
• Ability to work independently and efficiently within a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostically accurate images as ordered by physicians
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort
• Review and evaluate images for quality assurance and report any technical issues as necessary
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records in compliance with facility standards
• Monitor equipment performance and notify appropriate personnel of required maintenance
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures and infection control policies
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare team members
