MRI Technologist - Carnesville, GA

Seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in Imaging, specifically MRI, to fill a key MRI Technologist position. This contract role is essential for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging in a clinical setting.

Schedule:

• Day shift: 07:30 – 16:00

Qualifications:

• ARRT(MR) certification required
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proven experience in MRI technology, including knowledge of MRI safety protocols and best practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and medical staff
• Attention to detail and high degree of technical accuracy

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans and ensure quality diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, providing support and explaining the MRI process
• Monitor patients’ condition throughout scans and report any significant findings or concerns
• Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment to guarantee optimal operation and safety
• Complete accurate documentation and electronic records for each imaging session
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members for timely and coordinated care
