MRI Technologist - Chapel Hill, NC

Schedule/Hours:

• Thursday through Sunday
• Two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts per week
• Daytime hours

Qualifications:

• ARRT(MR) certification required
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proven experience administering contrast agents for MRI scans
• Strong proficiency using Epic and PACS systems
• Solid understanding of MRI safety protocols and best practices
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a healthcare team

Responsibilities:

• Conduct MRI examinations using advanced imaging equipment in accordance with physician instructions
• Accurately administer contrast materials as needed for specific imaging procedures
• Ensure patient comfort, communication, and safety throughout each procedure
• Operate Epic for patient documentation and utilize PACS for imaging workflow management
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of MRI suite and equipment
• Review images for quality and collaborate with radiologists on any findings requiring further evaluation
• Observing strict adherence to protocols for patient privacy and departmental guidelines
