MRI Technologist in Charlotte, NC

Advance your radiology career as an MRI Technologist in a dynamic, high-acuity environment. This contract position offers the chance to work in a nationally recognized teaching and trauma center, where adults and pediatric patients present a broad spectrum of cases from the ED, ICU, nursing units, and outpatient services.

Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
• 13-week contract assignment
• No requirement to rotate between weekends and weekdays; the shift is consistent per contract
• Holiday support may be needed unless prior approval is granted
• On-call rotation is equitably shared across a multidisciplinary team
• No mandatory floating

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience
• ARRT(R) or NMTCB, plus ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT credentials
• Current BLS certification
• Confident clinical skills with the ability to excel in fast-paced, high-acuity situations
• Effective communicator and collaborative team player

Responsibilities:

• Operate advanced Siemens 1.5T MRI magnets to perform imaging for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient populations
• Accurately document procedures and patient information utilizing the EPIC EMR system
• Deliver expert care across diverse cases, adapting quickly to rapidly changing patient and department needs
• Participate in a fair call rotation schedule
