MRI Technologist in Charlotte, NC

Step into a dynamic role as an MRI Technologist within a large, high-acuity hospital known for its Level I Trauma services, teaching programs, and comprehensive radiology diagnostics. Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour night shifts
• Monday through Thursday, 7:00 pm – 5:30 am
• 40-hour work weeks
• Call rotation is fairly distributed among the team, with no weekend or weekday rotations for travelers; holiday coverage may be required unless pre-approved.

Key Qualifications:

• One year minimum experience as an MRI Technologist
• ARRT(R) or NMTCB and ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certifications required
• BLS certification required
• Strong clinical proficiency and comfort working in fast-paced, high-acuity settings
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach
• Willingness to assist with holiday coverage and flexible to the department’s schedule
• First-time travelers are welcome

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI exams for a varied caseload including adults and pediatrics from the ED, ICU, inpatient, and outpatient settings
• Operate Siemens 1.5T magnets and utilize EPIC EMR for documentation
• Maintain safety and accuracy throughout all imaging procedures
• Seek solutions collaboratively and uphold a supportive department culture with modality supervisors and lead technologists
