Advance your practice as an MRI Technologist providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a dynamic, high-acuity environment at a renowned teaching and trauma center. You’ll join a collaborative imaging team supporting both adult and pediatric patients from the Emergency Department, ICUs, inpatient units, and outpatient clinics—contributing vital expertise to a leading Chest Pain and Stroke Center.
Schedule and Shift:
- 10-hour night shifts
- Monday–Thursday, 7:00pm–5:30am
- No weekend rotations; shift assignment per contract
- Call coverage is fairly rotated among all team members
- Holiday coverage required unless approved off in advance
- 13-week assignment
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience (first-time travelers welcome)
- Confident in clinical skills, adaptable in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting
- ARRT(R) or NMTCB and ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification
- BLS certification
- State licensure not required
- Exemplary communication skills paired with a spirit of teamwork
Role Responsibilities:
- Operate Siemens 1.5T MRI units and document patient information in EPIC EMR
- Perform a wide range of radiology imaging exams for diverse populations
- Balance priorities across high volumes: average 40–45 patients per day
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams in a Level I Adult & Pediatric Trauma Center
- Participate in call coverage and holiday shifts as part of a supportive rotation
- Consistently deliver service excellence while maintaining safety and quality standards
