MRI Technologist in Charlotte, NC

Step into a vital Diagnostic Imaging role focused on MRI within a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position offers a consistent weekday schedule and the opportunity to contribute directly to patient care within an established team.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
• 8-hour day shifts
• 40 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Current certification and licensure as an MRI Technologist required
• Demonstrated experience operating MRI equipment within a healthcare setting
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and patient-focused approach
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team that includes full time, part time, PRN, and traveler staff
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans according to established protocols with a focus on accuracy and patient comfort
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, addressing questions and explaining processes
• Review images for diagnostic quality and communicate results or concerns to physicians as needed
• Maintain and ensure proper functioning of MRI equipment
• Participate in a fair on-call rotation with other team members, as required by departmental needs
• Assist with holiday coverage unless previously approved for time off
• No weekend work or floating to other units required for traveler staff

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
