MRI Technologist - Charlotte, North Carolina

Expertise in advanced imaging is needed for this contract MRI technologist opportunity. This position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently during overnight hours. You'll support critical patient care in a dynamic clinical environment, making a real impact with your specialized skills.

Schedule:

• 12-hour night shifts (36 hours per week)
• Friday/Saturday/Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Qualifications:

• Current certification and registration as an MRI technologist (ARRT MRI or equivalent)
• Advanced knowledge of MRI safety practices, scanning protocols, and equipment operation
• Prior experience with imaging and MRI in a medical facility
• Ability to work independently and as part of a larger imaging team
• Strong communication skills and professionalism

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all patients, screening for contraindications and monitoring well-being throughout the imaging process
• Adhere strictly to safety and regulatory guidelines, including infection control standards
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and colleagues to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in an on-call rotation, sharing responsibility for after-hours coverage with full-time, part-time, PRN, and travel staff as fairly determined by team size and rotation schedules
• Provide reliable coverage during assigned holidays unless advance time-off is approved

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
