MRI Technologist in Charlotte, NC

Bring your expertise in MRI imaging to an advanced clinical environment, supporting patients and healthcare teams in delivering precise diagnostics. This contract position features a consistent 10-hour night shift schedule with opportunities for expanded clinical experience and skill development in a specialized setting.

Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour night shifts (Monday through Thursday: 8:30 PM–7:00 AM)
• Rotating weekend call (1 weekend per month, Friday night to Monday morning, with a 1-hour response time)
• Every other weekend holiday requirement
• No floating required

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (MRI) certification or equivalent MRI technologist credentials
• Active state licensure as required for MRI technologists
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in MRI imaging preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Strong technical proficiency with MRI equipment and imaging protocols
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to thrive in a night shift environment and respond promptly to on-call requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment, perform diagnostic scans, and produce high-quality images for physician interpretation
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
• Adhere to all radiology safety guidelines and proper contrast administration practices
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and clinical team members
• Coordinate and respond to on-call/call-back duties as assigned
• Document imaging procedures accurately in electronic medical records

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
