MRI Technologist | Chicago, Illinois

Experience a dynamic opportunity in medical imaging as a skilled MRI Technologist, providing advanced MRI procedures in a busy clinical setting. Schedule:

• Primary hours: 11:30am – 8:00pm on weekdays and 9:00am – 5:30pm on select weekdays
• Weekend shifts: 7:30am – 4:00pm every other weekend
• Rotational on-call duties: Weekdays 8:00pm – 6:30am; Weekends 4:00pm – 7:30am

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT certification required
• Valid BLS certification
• Proven experience in MRI technology, including comfort with varied imaging protocols
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interactions
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a traveler within diverse teams
• Willingness to adapt to rotational weekend and on-call responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and advanced MRI exams in accordance with established protocols to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout all imaging procedures, monitoring for contraindications and responding to patient concerns
• Operate MRI scanners with precision; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures within patient records
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation and workflow efficiency
• Participate in on-call rotations and assist with after-hours imaging needs as scheduled

$1,806 - $1,904/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
