MRI Technologist - Chicago, Illinois

This contract position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced MRI Technologist with a traveler background to contribute to a high-functioning imaging team and provide vital diagnostic services.

Schedule/Hours:

• Main shifts: Weekdays 11:30am–8:00pm
• Some shifts: Weekdays 9:00am–5:30pm
• Weekend shifts: 7:30am–4:00pm
• Every other weekend rotation
• On-call: Weekday call from 8:00pm–6:30am on a rotational basis; Weekend call from 4:00pm–7:30am rotational

Qualifications:

• Active ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Proven experience as an MRI Technologist
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts
• Strong technical skills in MRI operations and patient positioning
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Prepare and position patients with professionalism and sensitivity to comfort and safety
• Monitor patient status during procedures, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff for proper image evaluation and workflow efficiency
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for all imaging procedures
• Assist in the maintenance and minor troubleshooting of MRI equipment
• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to established policies and procedures

$1,806 - $1,904/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
