MRI Technologist - Chula Vista, California

Schedule:

• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• Day shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm

Qualifications:

• Active certification in ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating MRI equipment and performing imaging studies

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of MRI procedures following physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process
• Verify patient identification and review relevant clinical information
• Operate MRI systems and monitor image quality for accuracy and diagnostic value
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and referring clinicians to deliver timely results
• Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, infection control guidelines, and patient confidentiality requirements
• Accurately document exam details and maintain technical records
