Make a real difference in patient care by utilizing your expertise in MRI imaging! We are seeking a skilled professional to provide high-quality diagnostic services over a 13-week assignment. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment where your clinical skills will contribute directly to patient outcomes.
Schedule:
- 5 shifts per week (8 hours each)
- Day shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm
Qualifications:
- Current certification in BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required
- Minimum of one year of experience as an MRI Technologist
- Proficiency in patient positioning, imaging protocols, and safe operation of MRI equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to capture accurate diagnostic images according to physician requests and established protocols
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, adhering to all safety and infection control guidelines
- Maintain thorough, accurate patient records and document all procedures performed
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal imaging outcomes
- Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients before, during, and after procedures
- Perform equipment checks and assist with troubleshooting to maintain optimal functionality
