MRI Technologist - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania

An opportunity is available for an experienced MRI Technologist to support advanced imaging services for a 13-week contract in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role focuses on delivering high-quality MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with medical professionals for accurate diagnostic outcomes.

Schedule:

• 4x10 hour shifts
• Mids: 1:00 pm – 11:30 pm, Tuesday through Friday

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification required
• Must possess ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification
• Minimum of 2 years of MRI Tech experience in a clinical or hospital setting
• Strong understanding of imaging protocols and safety standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging studies, ensuring comfort and safety throughout
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and equipment functionality
• Accurately document patient information and imaging results in electronic records
• Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to support quality diagnostic processes
• Adhere to strict safety and infection control procedures
• Provide clear, compassionate instructions to patients
