Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification and registration in MRI (ARRT (MR) or equivalent credentials required)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience performing MRI procedures
  • Proficiency with MRI equipment, safety protocols, and imaging best practices
  • Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology
  • Ability to provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients
  • Current BLS certification
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred

Schedule:

  • Full-time hours; shift details to be discussed during interview

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of MRI procedures under physician direction
  • Prepare and position patients according to established protocols, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Operate MRI imaging equipment and monitor image quality
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document procedure details in EMR systems
  • Uphold strict adherence to safety standards for patients and staff, including screening for contraindications
  • Provide patient education regarding MRI procedures and address their concerns with empathy
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to support diagnostic accuracy
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging suites and equipment
