Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid ARRT (MRI) certification or equivalent
- Proven experience performing MRI scans in a medical or hospital setting
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Excellent knowledge of MRI safety protocols and patient care
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing clear, diagnostic-quality images
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment with efficiency and accuracy
Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time hours
- Flexible scheduling may be available, subject to department needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
- Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout each procedure
- Operate MRI scanners and monitor image quality, adjusting parameters as needed for optimal results
- Accurately document each exam and maintain records in compliance with HIPAA and facility policies
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate results and prompt reporting
- Maintain a safe work environment, uphold infection control standards, and follow facility-specific safety procedures
