Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current ARRT (MRI) certification, or eligibility required
  • Valid state licensure for MRI Technologists, as applicable
  • Proven experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical setting
  • Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and imaging procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to patient comfort, privacy, and satisfaction
  • CPR/BLS certification strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
  • Prepare patients by explaining procedures, ensuring accurate positioning, and minimizing discomfort
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, performing regular quality control checks
  • Safeguard patients and staff by adhering to rigorous safety guidelines
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal imaging outcomes
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Assist with managing imaging schedules and workflow efficiency
