Qualifications & Experience:
- Current ARRT (MRI) certification, or eligibility required
- Valid state licensure for MRI Technologists, as applicable
- Proven experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and imaging procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient comfort, privacy, and satisfaction
- CPR/BLS certification strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Prepare patients by explaining procedures, ensuring accurate positioning, and minimizing discomfort
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, performing regular quality control checks
- Safeguard patients and staff by adhering to rigorous safety guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal imaging outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Assist with managing imaging schedules and workflow efficiency
