A skilled MRI technologist is needed for a contract assignment in a healthcare environment. Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
  • Ensure proper patient positioning, comfort, and safety during all imaging procedures.
  • Operate MRI equipment with technical expertise, optimizing image quality while minimizing patient exposure.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, including patient information, imaging data, and procedure documentation.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Troubleshoot and report equipment issues promptly to appropriate personnel.
  • Uphold strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and departmental safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Certified and registered in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) – ARRT (MR) or equivalent.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Prior experience performing MRI imaging in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
