Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active ARRT (MR) certification required
  • Valid MRI Technologist licensure as mandated by state regulations
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent MRI/Magnetic Resonance Imaging experience in a clinical setting
  • Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and image quality standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively with radiologists, clinicians, and other healthcare staff
  • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting MRI equipment
  • Excellent communication, patient care, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physicians’ orders and established protocols
  • Position patients safely, explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort throughout the imaging process
  • Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and coordinate with radiologists for interpretation
  • Maintain accurate patient records, equipment logs, and procedural documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control guidelines
  • Care for and maintain MRI equipment, reporting issues as needed
  • Support a compassionate environment by responding to patient questions and concerns
