Key Qualifications:
- Current, active ARRT (MR) certification required
- Valid MRI Technologist licensure as mandated by state regulations
- Minimum of 1 year of recent MRI/Magnetic Resonance Imaging experience in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and image quality standards
- Ability to work collaboratively with radiologists, clinicians, and other healthcare staff
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting MRI equipment
- Excellent communication, patient care, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physicians’ orders and established protocols
- Position patients safely, explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort throughout the imaging process
- Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and coordinate with radiologists for interpretation
- Maintain accurate patient records, equipment logs, and procedural documentation
- Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control guidelines
- Care for and maintain MRI equipment, reporting issues as needed
