Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent MRI experience in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Proficiency with MRI equipment and strong understanding of imaging protocols
  • Knowledge of patient safety procedures and emergency protocols in an MRI suite
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to compassionate patient care and technical excellence

Schedule/Hours:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by physicians
  • Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and adherence to safety protocols
  • Review and confirm imaging orders, verifying patient identification and maintaining detailed records
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other staff to achieve optimal diagnostic outcomes
  • Maintain a clean, well-organized workspace and follow all infection prevention procedures
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and arrange for needed maintenance when required
  • Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients throughout the imaging procedure
