This opportunity is ideal for an experienced MRI Technologist with a passion for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging. The assignment spans 13 weeks with a focus on providing excellent patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour shifts per week
  • Day shift: 11:00 am – 11:30 pm

Qualifications:

  • Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in MRI [ARRT(MR)]
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Proficiency in performing a wide variety of MRI procedures
  • Strong patient-focused approach with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced clinical setting

Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI equipment to acquire diagnostic images according to established protocols and physician instructions
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy before, during, and after scans
  • Review images for quality and completeness, recognizing areas requiring additional imaging
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all procedures performed
  • Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care
  • Oversee the preparation and positioning of patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns as needed
  • Maintain MRI equipment, troubleshoot minor technical issues, and notify appropriate personnel when maintenance is required
