MRI Technician | Columbus, Ohio

Schedule:

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
• Day shifts: 11:00 am – 11:30 pm

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification by ARRT(MR) is required
• Active BLS certification
• Previous experience with MRI imaging, including patient positioning, safety screening, and protocol adherence
• Strong attention to detail and excellent patient care skills
• Effective communication abilities for collaborating with medical staff and informing patients
• Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced environment

Main Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images according to established protocols
• Ensure patient safety throughout the imaging process, including thorough screening for contraindications
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring clinicians to provide high-quality imaging studies
• Prepare, position, and monitor patients during MRI procedures, providing clear instructions and reassurance
• Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain proper records in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Perform daily equipment checks and routine maintenance to guarantee operational readiness
