Advance your imaging career by stepping into a crucial MRI Technologist position at a leading teaching and trauma hospital. This 13-week contract role offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art Siemens 1.5T MRI equipment and contribute to a collaborative, high-acuity clinical team. You'll be an essential part of a diverse department that serves both adult and pediatric patients across emergency, ICU, nursing units, and outpatient settings.
Schedule/Hours:
- 10-hour night shifts: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 pm–5:30 am
- No weekend rotation—schedule will remain consistent with your contract
- Participation in holiday coverage is expected unless approved off in advance
- Call rotation is shared equally among all team members
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience (first-time travelers encouraged to apply)
- Current ARRT(R) or NMTCB certification
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required
- BLS certification
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of MRI examinations for both adult and pediatric patients
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals
- Safely operate Siemens 1.5T MRI scanners and document procedures in EPIC EMR
- Maintain high standards of patient care and safety at all times
- Flexibly participate in call coverage rotation as scheduled with the team
- Adhere to department protocols and maintain compliance with all requirements
