MRI Technologist | Concord, North Carolina

Take the next step in your imaging career by providing high-quality MRI scans and exceptional patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract role calls for a skilled MRI Technologist with a solid clinical background, whose expertise ensures safe, accurate imaging for diagnostics.

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekend call: 1 weekend per month (Friday night through Monday morning), with a 1-hour response time
• Every other weekend holiday requirement

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification and registration as an MRI Technologist
• Previous experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical or hospital setting
• In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to Magnetic Resonance Imaging
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to respond promptly and effectively when on-call
• Excellent communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient interactions

Role Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images as ordered by medical staff
• Prepare patients for procedures, verifying proper screening and explaining the process
• Follow established safety guidelines for patients and staff, particularly during on-call scenarios
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and healthcare providers regarding imaging results
• Maintain accurate patient records and technical documentation
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment and coordinate maintenance needs as required

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
