MRI Technologist in Concord, NC

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour night shifts
• Friday/Saturday/Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification and registration as an MRI Technologist
• Proficiency in imaging procedures specific to MRI technology
• Strong understanding of safety protocols for patients and staff
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with variable call schedules and ability to participate in fair call rotation
• Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high quality standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images according to physician orders
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
• Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret scanning needs and prioritize urgent cases
• Document imaging procedures and maintain complete, accurate patient records
• Participate in call as part of a fair rotation, with frequency based on team size
• Support holiday coverage unless pre-approved for time off
• No weekend/weekday rotation—scheduled shifts determined at contract start
• No floating to other units is required
