MRI Technologist - Concord, NC

This opportunity is perfect for a skilled MRI Technologist with a strong background in advanced imaging. The position focuses on delivering high-quality MRI exams and patient care for a dedicated healthcare provider. This role is contract-based and offers a focused schedule with no rotating weekdays or weekends, ensuring consistency throughout the assignment.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour night shifts
• Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certification and experience as an MRI Technologist
• Proficiency in MRI imaging protocols and equipment operation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive imaging team
• Current BLS certification (preferred or required by local standards)
• Strong commitment to patient safety and comfort
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI studies in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure optimal patient positioning, comfort, and care during exams
• Assess and confirm patient safety, including screening for contraindications
• Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to achieve best outcomes
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality and compliance standards
• Participate in on-call responsibilities according to a fair, rotating schedule
• Assist with holiday coverage as needed, with advanced approval required for time off
