MRI Technologist in Concord, NC

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced MRI Technologist to join a leading healthcare facility on a contract basis. This role focuses on providing high-quality imaging services and collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals to deliver outstanding patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday (8:00 am – 4:30 pm)
• 40 hours per week

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as an MRI Technologist
• Advanced proficiency with imaging procedures, specifically MRI
• Experience operating MRI equipment and technology in a healthcare environment
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and patient care best practices
• Ability to work collaboratively with full time, part time, PRN, and Traveler staff
• Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI scans as ordered by healthcare providers
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort
• Accurately interpret physician orders and follow established protocols
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Document imaging results and patient information with accuracy and attention to confidentiality
• Respond to call requirements as scheduled, participating in a fair rotation with other staff
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and industry regulations
• Contribute to holiday coverage as needed, with the potential for advance approval of time off

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
