MRI Technologist in Concord, NC

Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday
• 9:00 pm – 7:30 am
• Call responsibilities vary and are equitably distributed among all staff members
• No weekend rotations; travelers maintain consistent scheduled shifts per contract terms
• Holiday coverage is required unless approved in advance

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification or licensure as an MRI Technologist
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating MRI equipment
• Strong attention to safety and infection protocols
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adhere to schedule requirements

Primary Duties:

• Perform MRI scans according to physician orders, ensuring both accuracy and patient safety
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, providing clear instructions and support
• Monitor images for quality, troubleshoot equipment, and adjust technical factors as needed
• Document procedures, observations, and outcomes accurately within medical records systems
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care
• Participate in the shared call rotation as scheduled
