Step into a pivotal role supporting advanced diagnostic care by providing expertise in MRI imaging. As a skilled imaging professional, you will work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team, utilizing Siemens Aera 1.5 equipment. This position requires a detail-oriented approach in a dynamic environment to ensure the highest imaging quality and patient safety.
Schedule:
- 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each
- Evenings: 3:00pm–11:30pm
- Includes rotating weekends
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT accepted
- Proven experience operating Siemens Aera 1.5 MRI scanners
- Advanced proficiency in neuro imaging, body, angiography, and musculoskeletal (MSK) protocols preferred
- Prior experience scanning patients with a range of implanted devices
- Strong commitment to patient care and safety, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of MRI scans, ensuring precise image acquisition and optimal patient positioning
- Apply expert knowledge in neuro, body, angiography, and MSK imaging, adjusting techniques as required
- Carefully follow screening protocols for patients with multiple implanted devices
- Maintain equipment safety and regularly document quality control procedures
- Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients throughout the imaging process
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare providers to facilitate diagnostic workflows
