Take the next step in your imaging career by working as an MRI Technologist in a hospital-based setting, supporting acute care and complex neurological cases. This contract position is for a travel MRI tech role with a dedicated night schedule. Applicants must not reside within 50 miles of Louisville.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 9:00 pm – 7:30 am, Monday through Thursday

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of acute care MRI technologist experience
  • BLS certification required
  • ARRT (MR) certification or AMRIT accepted
  • Valid KY license or grandfathered status
  • Skilled in providing imaging services to patients with neuro diagnoses including spine, stroke, and head trauma
  • Strong patient care skills and a positive, professional attitude
  • Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a team

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI examinations for an average of 6–7 patients per shift, supporting a daily department census of up to 40 patients
  • Deliver imaging care for a range of acute inpatient cases, including student athletes
  • Collaborate closely with on-site radiologists and other MRI technologists
  • Utilize Siemens Sola and Verio MRI equipment
  • Maintain excellent patient communication and contribute to a supportive care environment
  • Attend a comprehensive two-week department orientation
  • Adhere to department guidelines on scheduling, weekend rotation, and holiday coverage as needed
