MRI Technologist in Cuyahoga Falls, OH

A dynamic imaging department is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to provide vital support for patients requiring advanced diagnostic imaging. This contract role spans 13 weeks, offering the chance to collaborate with a talented care team and utilize state-of-the-art MRI technology in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour evening shifts per week
• Rotating weekend coverage
• On-call responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

• Current certification in MRI through ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Recent MRI experience in a clinical setting
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and best practices
• Excellent communication and adaptability in a collaborative team

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images according to established protocols
• Prepare and position patients for MRI studies, ensuring comfort and safety throughout procedures
• Accurately document all pertinent patient and imaging data within electronic medical records
• Monitor patients during scans, recognizing any adverse reactions and responding appropriately
• Communicate findings and collaborate with radiologists and referring providers to facilitate quality care
• Maintain MRI equipment and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
• Uphold hospital policies, including patient privacy and infection control standards
