MRI Technologist - Danbury, CT

Key Qualifications:

• Registered MRI Technologist with current ARRT (MRI) certification
• Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with eligibility to push contrast in Connecticut
• Proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment
• Strong clinical imaging skills in MRI, including patient positioning and quality assurance
• Proven ability to follow department policies and maintain a safe work environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Independently perform MRI examinations using Siemens technology, providing high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation
• Administer contrast agents as needed in accordance with Connecticut state regulations for RTs
• Educate and prepare patients for MRI procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
• Verify physician orders and complete accurate electronic health records
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and support staff to optimize workflow and patient care
• Maintain compliance with all hospital, state, and federal regulatory requirements
