MRI Technologist in Danbury, CT

This opportunity calls for a skilled MRI technologist to join a dynamic imaging department for a 13-week assignment. Working with a Siemens Avanto system, you'll deliver high-quality patient care across a range of complex scans in a modern, fast-paced hospital environment.

Schedule:

• 4x10 hour shifts, days (7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.)

Key qualifications:

• Experience working independently without a tech aide
• Proficiency starting IVs independently
• Current registration as RT with ARRT(R)(MR) credentials, enabling the technologist to push contrast in Connecticut
• Solid background in performing neuro, body, musculoskeletal (MSK), enterography, and breast MRI scans
• Comfort with Siemens Avanto equipment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and clinical staff

Primary responsibilities:

• Conduct a wide variety of MRI scans—neuro, body, MSK, enterography, and breast—ensuring precision and safety at each step
• Manage all aspects of the imaging workflow, including prep, patient positioning, and post-scan processes
• Start and manage IVs as needed for contrast studies
• Safely administer contrast in compliance with Connecticut requirements
• Maintain equipment and accurately report technical issues
• Adhere to all organizational, regulatory, and safety standards
• Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care, ensuring comfort and effective communication throughout procedures
