Travel MRI Technologist - Dayton, OH

Schedule:

• Wednesdays: 6:30 AM–5:00 PM (Imaging Lab), Call 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Thursdays: 6:30 AM–5:00 PM (Imaging Lab)
• Fridays: 6:30 AM–5:00 PM (SRMC)
• Weekend Call: Saturday 7:00 AM–Sunday 7:00 PM (on select dates)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year MRI experience, hospital setting preferred
• ARRT MR certification required (or within 1 year of hire)
• Basic Life Support (AHA), required prior to direct patient care
• Experience with GE MRI equipment required
• IV start and contrast administration proficiency
• Familiarity with Epic EHR and PACS preferred
• Associate’s degree from ARRT-accredited institution preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment in hospital and outpatient environments (22 exams daily avg.)
• Follow MRI protocols and maintain safety standards for patients and staff
• Verify patient/procedure data, select pulse sequences and scan parameters
• Provide patient education and care before, during, and after scans
• Train and support new technologists and MRI students
• Perform IV injections, administer contrast media, troubleshoot basic equipment issues
