  • Valid ARRT (MRI) certification required
  • Demonstrated experience operating MRI scanners in a clinical setting
  • Thorough understanding of MRI safety protocols for both patients and staff
  • Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and PACS

Schedule:

  • Contract position; specific hours will be discussed during the interview process

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality, accurate MRI scans according to ordered protocols
  • Explain procedures to patients, addressing questions and ensuring comfort and safety throughout
  • Position patients and equipment properly to yield optimal images
  • Monitor imaging equipment for proper operation, promptly reporting malfunctions
  • Review images for clarity and completeness prior to submission for interpretation
  • Uphold privacy standards and adhere to infection control and workplace safety policies
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and scan logs
