MRI Technologist | Des Moines, Iowa

Advance your career as an experienced MRI technologist in a dynamic medical imaging environment. This contract opportunity offers full-time hours with a supportive team and access to advanced diagnostic technology.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts each week
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (40 hours per week)
• Call rotation: one weeknight and one weekend (Friday/Saturday) every 10th weekend

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Proven skills in Imaging – MRI, including operation of Siemens & GE MRI equipment
• Proficiency in MRI power injection contrast techniques
• Experience with a variety of patient populations: emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient
• Prior experience with EPIC EMR preferred
• Registered/certified MRI Technologist credentials and active state licensure (as required)
• Ability to float across multiple campuses as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI scans with attention to patient safety and image accuracy
• Communicate clearly with patients and colleagues, creating a calm and professional environment
• Accurately document procedures and patient information within the EPIC EMR system
• Respond efficiently to emergent imaging needs and on-call responsibilities
• Ensure equipment cleanliness, safety standards, and routine maintenance procedures are followed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize workflow and deliver timely patient care
