Seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a contract assignment. This role calls for an experienced professional to provide high-quality imaging services and ensure patient safety throughout each procedure. The position spans 13 weeks and follows a unique schedule designed to support work-life balance.
Schedule
- Thursday through Sunday
- Two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts, all during daytime hours
Qualifications
- Certified through ARRT(MR) and hold current BLS certification
- Demonstrated experience administering contrast
- Proficient operating MRI equipment and systems, specifically Epic and PACS
- Strong skills in patient interaction, positioning, and care during procedures
- Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within a clinical environment
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI scans with accuracy and adherence to safety protocols
- Administer contrast material with attention to patient allergies and potential reactions
- Maintain detailed imaging records within Epic and PACS systems
- Communicate procedures clearly to patients and address any questions or concerns
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal imaging outcomes
- Monitor and report equipment functionality, addressing issues promptly to reduce downtime
