- 2:30 PM to 10:00 PM
What you need to succeed:
- Current certification through ARMRIT or ARRT (MRI)
- No state of Connecticut radiology license required for this position
- Proficient in MRI scanning, including patient positioning and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Friendly patient interaction and the ability to support a positive patient experience
- Previous experience as an MRI Tech in a clinical or hospital setting preferred
Core responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining each step and answering questions
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
- Review physicians' orders and verify imaging requirements
- Maintain documentation and adhere to facility protocols
- Communicate results and relay technical information to the healthcare team
