MRI Technician | East Hartford, Connecticut

Seeking a skilled MRI Technician for a contract assignment, working in an advanced imaging environment. The ideal candidate is well-versed in MRI procedures and brings strong technical and patient care skills. Schedule:

• 2:30 PM to 10:00 PM

What you need to succeed:

• Current certification through ARMRIT or ARRT (MRI)
• No state of Connecticut radiology license required for this position
• Proficient in MRI scanning, including patient positioning and safety protocols
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Friendly patient interaction and the ability to support a positive patient experience
• Previous experience as an MRI Tech in a clinical or hospital setting preferred

Core responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining each step and answering questions
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
• Review physicians' orders and verify imaging requirements
• Maintain documentation and adhere to facility protocols
• Communicate results and relay technical information to the healthcare team
