Schedule:
- 5 shifts per week
- 8-hour days; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of experience as an MRI Technologist
- Valid BLS certification
- Registered with ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT
- Proficient in MRI equipment operation, safety protocols, and imaging best practices
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and a commitment to compassionate patient care
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for MRI examinations to ensure comfort and accuracy
- Operate MRI scanners safely, optimizing imaging parameters based on physician referrals
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and infection control policies
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to review images and provide quality diagnostic support
- Maintain accurate records, complete exam documentation, and manage digital image archiving
- Communicate exam procedures clearly to patients, alleviating concerns and fostering a supportive environment
- Perform equipment checks and routine maintenance; promptly report any malfunctions
