Schedule:

  • 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM shift

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in operating MRI equipment and related imaging technology
  • Certified by ARMRIT or ARRT (MRI)
  • No Connecticut state radiology license required
  • Strong communication and patient care abilities
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to follow imaging protocols precisely
  • Previous experience in an acute care, hospital, or outpatient imaging setting is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for MRI exams, ensuring safety and comfort throughout procedures
  • Operate MRI equipment for quality diagnostic imaging, following established protocols
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records
  • Collaborate with radiologists and referring providers to facilitate timely diagnostic information
  • Adhere to all safety standards, including infection control measures and MRI-specific safety policies
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and contribute to a high-functioning clinical environment
