- 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM shift
Qualifications:
- Proficient in operating MRI equipment and related imaging technology
- Certified by ARMRIT or ARRT (MRI)
- No Connecticut state radiology license required
- Strong communication and patient care abilities
- Keen attention to detail and ability to follow imaging protocols precisely
- Previous experience in an acute care, hospital, or outpatient imaging setting is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for MRI exams, ensuring safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Operate MRI equipment for quality diagnostic imaging, following established protocols
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records
- Collaborate with radiologists and referring providers to facilitate timely diagnostic information
- Adhere to all safety standards, including infection control measures and MRI-specific safety policies
- Assist with equipment maintenance and contribute to a high-functioning clinical environment
