MRI Technologist - Fairfax, VA

Seeking an experienced MRI technologist to provide high-quality imaging services during the overnight shift. This role requires professionals adept with Siemens and GE MRI equipment, ready to support patient care in a fast-paced environment. A strong background in MRI technology, comfort with night hours, and the ability to adapt quickly are essential.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 10:00pm to 6:30am (5x8-hour overnight shifts)
• 13-week contract assignment
• ASAP start date

Qualifications:

• ARRT (R)(MR) certification is required
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an MRI Technologist
• Ability to submit proof of applied or active Virginia state license (can submit pending VA license; must verify application or follow temporary process)
• Experience with Siemens Skyra 3T, Siemens Sola 1.5T, and GE Signa HDx 1.5T MRI equipment preferred
• Familiarity with Epic Radiology MT module online on unit
• Must comply with required scrub color (grey)
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31); exemptions must adhere to CMS guidelines and require agency coordination

Responsibilities:

• Perform quality MRI imaging as directed by physician orders
• Operate and maintain specified imaging equipment
• Accurately document procedures and patient information within the Epic system
• Ensure strict adherence to safety and infection control guidelines
• Collaborate with radiology and nursing teams to deliver optimal patient care
