MRI Technologist in Fairfax, VA

Step into a dynamic imaging environment with an immediate opportunity for a skilled MRI Technologist. This contract role is a great fit for professionals seeking hands-on experience using advanced MRI technology and making meaningful impacts in patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

• Overnight shift, 10:00pm – 6:30am
• Monday through Friday
• 5x8-hour shifts per week

Key Qualifications:

• Current ARRT registration in Radiography and MRI (R)(MR)
• At least 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
• Pending VA license submissions accepted, provided proof of application and compliance with temporary licensing processes
• Experience with Siemens Skyra 3T, Siemens Sola 1.5T, and GE Signa HDx 1.5T equipment
• Familiarity with EPIC (Radiology MT Online on Unit)
• Willingness to adhere to required scrub color (grey) and facility vaccination guidelines

Responsibilities:

• Perform imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Siemens and GE MRI scanners and related equipment
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort while adhering to departmental protocols
• Accurately complete documentation and reports in EPIC system
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and fellow technologists
• Maintain a consistently clean, organized, and professional work environment

• Compliance with seasonal flu vaccination policy (Oct 1 – Mar 31) required; all exemption requests are managed in accordance with regulatory standards
