MRI Technologist - Fairfield, Connecticut

Advance your career in diagnostic imaging in an engaging environment utilizing the latest MRI technology. A skilled MRI technologist is needed for a 13-week contract assignment. This opportunity offers the chance to independently manage a Siemens Avanto MRI suite and perform a wide range of advanced scans, serving diverse patient needs.

Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts weekly
• Day shift: 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Qualifications:

• ARRT certification with MRI (ARRT(R)(MR)); eligibility to push contrast in Connecticut as an RT
• Demonstrated proficiency with Siemens Avanto MRI equipment
• Experience and confidence in starting IVs independently
• Able to work solo without a technologist aide
• Strong knowledge in performing neuro, body, MSK, enterography, and breast MRI scans
• Excellent communication skills and ability to ensure comfort and safety for patients throughout the imaging process

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Siemens Avanto MRI independently, maintaining workflow and safety standards
• Perform a variety of advanced scans, adjusting protocols as needed for high-quality imaging results
• Start IVs and administer contrast as permitted by state guidelines
• Prioritize patient care, ensuring compassionate support and education during procedures
• Accurately document scan protocols and maintain patient records according to compliance standards
• Troubleshoot equipment or workflow challenges with resourcefulness and professionalism

$3,302 - $3,482/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
