Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)
• Skilled in MRI imaging, with experience as an MRI Tech
• Proficient in operating Siemens MRI equipment
• Must meet the requirements for RT credentialing to push contrast as required by Connecticut state regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow clinical protocols
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and care for patients

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images following physician orders
• Prepare and position patients safely and comfortably for imaging studies
• Administer IV contrast in compliance with state guidelines and facility protocols
• Monitor patient safety and well-being throughout the imaging process
• Accurately document procedures and maintain equipment
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare specialists to support diagnostic needs
• Maintain a patient-focused approach, ensuring confidentiality and compassionate care
